I am an abstract painter and arts educator living in the mountains of NC. I received her BA from Appalachian State University in Arts Education. I co-founded an arts after-school program for kids in my hometown, Morganton, NC. While taking a step back from arts education to raise my own children, I dove into developing my own studio practice. I have worked with watercolor and acrylic, also have a love for fiber art, specifically, weaving. Currently, I am creating a body of work about communion and togetherness in the wild places. These paintings are about the study of color, and patterns involving figures and animals.
